A PRIVILEGED AREA IN RIOJA ALAVESA
All the wines from Bodegas HPM are solely made with grapes from our own vineyards, so the whole process of grapes and winemaking is thoroughly controlled. This way maximum quality is achieved, and it allows all vintages of its wines to have the same character.
The family owns 40 hectares of vineyards in Baños de Ebro, Rioja Alavesa. It is a privileged area for growing grapes, due to its location, bathed by the Ebro river and protected by the Cantabria mountain range, which protects the vineyards from the northern winds, making it an optimum climate for vineyards.
In this area there is a microclimate with mild, wet winters and hot, dry summers, which favours fruity and full-bodied wines. In turn, the clay-limestone soil covering the vineyards, enhances the aromas and flavours of our wine, making it unique and special.
Our Amici signature wine and our crianza are obtained from our oldest vineyards, inherited from the family, which provide and complement them with incomparable nuances.
In turn, our range of high quality and flavour white wines are obtained from the Viura and white tempranillo vineyards.
